The Insurance Dashboard is the one-screen answer to “how’s the business doing?” Every widget is computed live from your Sales Log and Daily Tracker — log a sale or update a day’s numbers and the dashboard reflects it immediately. There’s nothing to configure.

Hero KPIs

The four numbers at the top are the ones that matter most:
  • Sales Made — policies sold
  • Annual Premium Written — total annualized premium
  • Full Commission — total year-1 commission (see Commission Tracking for the math)
  • ROI (full) % — return on your lead spend
Each KPI carries a sparkline of the last 8 weeks, so you can see direction at a glance — not just where you are, but whether you’re trending up or down.

Activity Cards

Below the heroes, eight compact cards cover the funnel: Lead Spend, Leads Received, Calls Made, Calls Answered, Presentations, Apps Started, Close Rate %, and ROI (advance) %. These come from your Daily Tracker entries, so the dashboard is only as complete as your daily logging.
Close Rate % is the fastest health check on your selling, and ROI (advance) % is the fastest check on your cash flow. If either dips for two straight weeks, dig into the weekly breakdown table to find which week — and which input — moved.

Charts and Breakdowns

  • Weekly trend chart — premium and commission plotted by week, so you can see momentum over time rather than a single snapshot
  • Commission by carrier — a bar chart showing where your income actually comes from
  • Weekly breakdown table — the last 8 weeks in rows, matching your Weekly Summary numbers
  • Carrier breakdown table — your top carriers ranked by commission, with sales count and the full/advance split per carrier
The carrier views are useful for contract decisions: if one carrier is producing most of your commission, that’s where a higher contract level pays off most.

Goal Planner

The Goal Planner view turns the dashboard’s history into a forecast. Enter a target annual premium, and Spark works backward using your own historical averages:
1

Enter your target

Set the annual premium you want to write — for the year, or whatever horizon you’re planning.
2

Spark pulls your averages

From your history it takes your premium per sale, commission %, and lead-to-sale conversion rate.
3

Read the plan

The planner calculates sales needed, lead spend needed, expected commission, and projected ROI to hit the target.
The Goal Planner is a linear forecast based on your own history — it assumes your averages hold as you scale. Treat it as a planning baseline, not a guarantee; revisit it as your real numbers accumulate.

FAQs

The dashboard only shows what you’ve logged. No sales in the log means empty premium and commission widgets; no Daily Tracker entries means empty activity cards and no ROI. Start with the setup guide if your workspace is new.
ROI needs lead spend. Enter your daily spend in the Daily Tracker and the ROI widgets compute.
Your numbers roll up to agency dashboards and the leaderboard if you’ve joined an agency — the manager sees aggregates without touching your workspace data.
It needs history to average from. Log some sales and lead spend first — with no premium-per-sale or conversion data, there’s nothing to project.
