When your agent creates something — a report, a proposal, an email draft, a summary — it doesn’t just disappear into the chat. It gets saved to your Work tab, where you can view it, edit it, and come back to it anytime. Think of the Work tab as your agent’s filing cabinet. Everything it produces is organized and accessible, ready for you to review, edit, or share.

What Shows Up Here

Anything your agent writes that qualifies as a “document” ends up in the Work tab: Documents are created in a few ways:
  • You ask for one: “Write me a proposal for the Anderson account” → appears in Work tab
  • A scheduled task produces one: Your Friday afternoon report automatically saves here every week
  • A lead trigger creates one: An incoming form submission generates a quote document

Viewing and Editing Documents

Click any document in the Work tab to open it. You’ll see a rich text editor where you can:
  • Read the full document your agent created
  • Edit directly — change text, fix formatting, add your own notes
  • Format with headings, bold, italic, bullet lists, numbered lists
  • Add tables, code blocks, images, and links
  • Copy the content to paste into an email, a Google Doc, or wherever you need it
This is useful when your agent gets 90% of a document right and you just need to tweak a few details. Instead of asking it to regenerate the whole thing, you can make the edits yourself right in the editor.

Chatting About a Document

Here’s where it gets powerful. When you’re viewing a document, you’ll see a chat panel on the right side. This lets you have a conversation with your agent specifically about that document.
You: Can you rewrite paragraph 2 to be more concise? It’s too wordy. Agent: Done — I’ve tightened up paragraph 2. Here’s what it says now: [updated text]. The rest of the document is unchanged.
You: Add our standard terms and conditions to the end of this proposal. Agent: Added! I’ve appended the standard terms and conditions from your knowledge base. Take a look at the bottom of the document.
You: The pricing in this quote is wrong — they should get the volume discount since they’re ordering 50+ units. Agent: Good catch. I’ve recalculated with the volume discount applied. The new total is 4,250insteadof4,250 instead of 5,000. Updated in the document.
This is like sitting next to a coworker and pointing at a page saying “fix this part.” Your agent sees the document you’re looking at and makes the specific changes you ask for.

Documents from Scheduled Tasks

When you set up scheduled tasks, the reports and deliverables they produce automatically appear in your Work tab. This means:
  • Your Monday morning pipeline report is saved here every week — you can go back and compare week over week
  • Your daily lead summaries build up a history you can search through
  • Your monthly performance reviews are all in one place
You don’t need to do anything special for this to work. If a scheduled task creates a document, it shows up here automatically.

Managing Your Documents

Finding Documents

The Work tab shows your documents in a list. You can:
  • Search by title or content
  • Filter by document type (reports, emails, proposals, etc.)
  • Sort by date created or recently modified

Organizing

As your agent creates more documents, keeping things organized becomes important. You can:
  • Rename documents to be more descriptive
  • Delete documents you no longer need
Ask your agent to use consistent naming conventions. For example: “When you create weekly reports, always name them ‘Weekly Report - [date]’” — this makes them easy to find later.

Common Workflows

The Review-and-Send Flow

  1. Ask your agent to draft an email or proposal
  2. It appears in your Work tab
  3. Open it, review the content
  4. Use the document chat to ask for tweaks: “Make it shorter” or “Add a section about implementation timeline”
  5. Once it’s perfect, copy the content and send it (or ask your agent to send it if email is connected)

The Scheduled Report Flow

  1. Set up a weekly or monthly report schedule
  2. Every time it runs, a new report appears in your Work tab
  3. Open it to review the data
  4. Chat with your agent about it: “Why did conversion rate drop this week?” or “Expand on the section about lost deals”
  5. Share the report with your team

The Collaborative Draft Flow

  1. Ask your agent to create a first draft of any document
  2. Open it in the editor and make your own changes
  3. Chat with the agent: “I’ve edited sections 1 and 2. Can you review my changes and make sure the tone is consistent throughout?”
  4. Your agent reads your edits and smooths everything out
  5. Final document is a collaboration between you and your agent

Tips

Instead of creating documents in separate apps, let your agent create first drafts in the Work tab. It’s faster, and you can iterate with your agent right there in the editor.
Your scheduled reports pile up here — make sure to actually read them. If the format isn’t what you want, tell your agent: “Change the weekly report to focus more on revenue and less on activity counts.”
Rather than trying to describe a change in the main chat (“remember that proposal you wrote last week? change the third paragraph…”), just open the document and use the document chat. It’s faster and more precise.
