Views are how you look at your workspace data. Spark supports six view types, each designed for a different way of working. Switch between them depending on what you need — a spreadsheet, a visual board, a dashboard, or a report.

View Types

Table

Spreadsheet-style rows and columns. Best for scanning data, bulk editing, and filtering.

Pipeline

Kanban board organized by pipeline stages. Best for visual sales management.

Dashboard

Widgets, charts, and KPIs. Best for at-a-glance performance monitoring.

Gallery

Card-based visual layout. Best for browsing contacts or deals with key details.

Activity

Chronological timeline of events. Best for reviewing recent actions and history.

Report

Data summaries and analytics. Best for weekly reviews and trend analysis.

Table View

The table view gives you a spreadsheet-style grid of your contacts, deals, or tasks.

Features

  • Sortable columns — click any column header to sort ascending or descending
  • Filterable — filter by stage, lead score, tags, custom fields, date ranges, and more
  • Resizable columns — drag column borders to adjust width
  • Inline editing — click a cell to edit values directly
  • Column visibility — show or hide columns to focus on what matters
  • Bulk actions — select multiple rows and apply changes (move stage, add tag, delete)

When to Use

  • Reviewing all contacts with specific criteria
  • Bulk updates (changing stages, adding tags)
  • Exporting or scanning large datasets
  • When you need to see many fields per record

Pipeline View

The pipeline view displays your data as a kanban board — columns represent pipeline stages, and each card is a contact or deal.

Features

  • Drag and drop — move cards between columns to change stages
  • Card previews — see name, deal amount, lead score, and tags at a glance
  • Stage counts — total contacts and deal value per column
  • Filters — narrow by lead score, tag, assignee, or custom fields
  • Collapsible columns — hide stages you don’t need to focus on

When to Use

  • Active sales management — seeing where everyone is
  • Moving contacts through your process
  • Identifying bottlenecks (too many contacts stuck in one stage)
  • Quick visual status check
If a pipeline column is getting crowded, it might mean that stage needs attention — either contacts are getting stuck, or you need a follow-up process to move them forward.

Dashboard View

The dashboard is a customizable grid of widgets that give you an at-a-glance view of your business.

Available Widgets

Building a Dashboard

1

Switch to Dashboard View

Select Dashboard from the view type selector.
2

Add Widgets

Click Add Widget and choose the widget type. Configure its data source, title, and display options.
3

Arrange the Layout

Drag widgets to reposition them. Resize by dragging edges or corners. Widgets snap to a grid for clean alignment.
4

Configure Each Widget

Click the settings icon on any widget to adjust what data it shows, change chart types, set date ranges, or modify labels.

Dashboard Examples

  • KPI Cards: Monthly revenue, new leads this week, conversion rate
  • Funnel: Pipeline conversion from Lead → Won
  • Bar Chart: Deals by stage
  • Task List: Today’s follow-ups
  • Activity Feed: Recent contact activity
  • Stat Group: Open tasks, overdue tasks, completed this week
  • Line Chart: Tasks completed per day (trailing 30 days)
  • Pie Chart: Contacts by source
  • Table: Overdue items requiring attention
  • KPI Cards: Total pipeline value, monthly closed revenue, average deal size
  • Gauge: Progress toward quarterly goal
  • Funnel: Stage-by-stage conversion
  • Deal Summary: Value breakdown across pipeline

The gallery view shows your data as visual cards arranged in a grid — like a contact directory or product catalog.

Features

  • Card layout — each record displayed as a card with key fields
  • Customizable card content — choose which fields appear on each card
  • Filters — same filtering as table view
  • Visual scanning — faster than tables when you want to browse

When to Use

  • Browsing contacts visually
  • Reviewing a set of deals with key details
  • When you prefer cards over spreadsheet rows

Activity View

The activity view shows a chronological timeline of everything happening in your workspace.

What Appears in the Timeline

  • Contact created, updated, or deleted
  • Stage changes
  • Emails sent and received
  • Calls logged
  • Tasks created, completed, or overdue
  • Notes added
  • Deals created or updated
  • Agent actions (scheduled task results, automated changes)

Features

  • Filter by type — show only emails, or only stage changes, etc.
  • Filter by contact — see all activity for a specific person
  • Date range — focus on a specific time period
  • Expandable entries — click to see full details

When to Use

  • “What happened today?” — a quick review of all activity
  • Auditing changes — who moved what and when
  • Reviewing agent activity — what did your agent do during scheduled tasks

Report View

The report view gives you summarized data and analytics — aggregated numbers rather than individual records.

Features

  • Grouping — group data by stage, source, tag, custom field, or time period
  • Aggregations — count, sum, average, min, max
  • Date ranges — this week, this month, last quarter, custom range
  • Export — download report data for external use

Report Examples

  • Contacts by source this month — where are your leads coming from?
  • Average deal size by stage — which stages have the biggest opportunities?
  • Tasks completed per week — is follow-up activity trending up or down?
  • Pipeline value by team member — how is the pipeline distributed?

When to Use

  • Weekly or monthly reviews
  • Performance tracking
  • Identifying trends and patterns
  • Presenting data to stakeholders

Managing Views

Creating Views

You can create multiple saved views with different configurations. For example:
  • “Hot Leads” — table view filtered to hot lead score
  • “My Pipeline” — pipeline view filtered to your contacts
  • “Weekly Dashboard” — dashboard with weekly KPI widgets

Switching Views

Use the view selector at the top of your workspace to switch between view types or saved views.
Views are workspace-wide — any team member can see and use saved views. If you need a personal view, name it clearly (e.g., “Sarah’s Follow-up List”) so others know it’s someone’s custom setup.
