This guide walks you through creating your first workspace and agent on Spark OS.

1. Create an Account

Go to app.runspark.ai/signup and create your account.

2. Subscribe

Choose a plan that fits your needs. Your subscription includes:
  • One workspace
  • One AI agent
  • One phone number
  • Access to all integrations

3. Complete Onboarding

The onboarding wizard walks you through everything:
1

Name Your Workspace

This is your business name — it’s how your workspace appears in the sidebar.
2

Choose Your Industry

Select your industry and use case. This helps us configure the right features and suggest relevant templates.
3

Add an API Key

Your agent needs an AI model to think. Add an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. We recommend Anthropic (Claude) for the best results.
4

Create Your Agent

Give your agent a name, role, and personality. Be specific — “Insurance sales assistant who follows up with leads and generates quotes” is better than “AI assistant.”

4. Start Chatting

Once your agent is created, you’ll land on your workspace dashboard. Click on your agent in the sidebar to open the chat panel. Try saying:
“Hey, tell me what you can do”
Your agent will introduce itself and explain its capabilities based on how you configured it.

5. Teach Your Agent

The more your agent knows about your business, the better it performs. Go to Knowledge in the sidebar and upload:
  • Your company’s processes and procedures
  • Pricing information
  • FAQ documents
  • Any reference material your agent should know
Your agent reads these files on demand — you can add, update, or remove knowledge at any time without restarting anything.
