Email Drips work just like SMS drips, over email. Same triggers, same lead-type and filter routing, same timed steps — but each step has a subject and body instead of a text message, and sends come from your connected email account rather than your workspace number.

How They Work

  • Triggers — inbound lead, stage changed, or manual, identical to SMS
  • Routing — inbound campaigns target by lead type with the same filters (state, source, lead score, stage, custom fields); Spark enrolls each new lead in the most specific matching enabled campaign
  • Steps — each step is a subject + plain-text body, with a delay from the previous step
  • Tokens — the same personalization tokens as SMS: contact first name, state, your agent’s name, your phone number, and policy details for confirmation templates
Email bodies are plain text — write them like a personal email, not a designed newsletter.

Triggers

For the full mechanics of sequences, delays, filters, and most-specific-match enrollment, see SMS Drip Campaigns — everything there applies to email except the differences below.

SMS vs. Email Drips

Sending Setup

Email drips send through your real email account:
1

Connect an email account

Connect Gmail or Outlook in Settings → Integrations.
2

Pick the send-from account per campaign

Each campaign chooses which connected account it sends from.
3

Enable the campaign

Matching leads start enrolling, and emails go out from your address.

Unsubscribes

Every drip email automatically gets an unsubscribe link in the footer — you don’t add it yourself. When a contact unsubscribes, all drip email to that contact stops.
Unsubscribing from email and texting STOP are separate opt-outs. An email unsubscribe stops drip email; a STOP reply stops texting.

Policy Confirmation Emails

In insurance workspaces, policy confirmation emails are editable manual campaigns — fire them when a policy is written, and the policy-detail tokens fill in the carrier and coverage specifics. Edit the copy to match your voice like any other campaign.

FAQ

No — drip emails are plain text. Each step is a subject line and a plain-text body. In practice this is a feature: plain personal-looking emails are what a real agent would send.
No. Quiet hours apply to SMS only — emails send whenever their step comes due.
Both can run. Email and SMS drips enroll independently, each using the most-specific-match logic for its own channel.
All drip email to that contact stops. Texting is unaffected — email unsubscribes and SMS STOP replies are separate opt-outs.
Whichever connected account the campaign is set to. Connect Gmail or Outlook, then pick the send-from account on each campaign.
